I'm Lorena "Nena" Enrique. I'm 21, I was born and raised in Montrose, Colorado, and I race Spec Miata with Lead Foot Racing.

I got into cars as a teenager, through movies like the Fast and the Furious. Brian O'Conner is the one I connected with most.
Gran Turismo is what turned it into a plan. Learning about Jann Mardenborough's journey made me realize, if he can do it, why can't I.
So I took up racing school in California and earned my licenses within five months, while looking for racing opportunities to compete in. I practiced along the way in sim racing leagues, and made third this season while battling for second.
I take extra time to volunteer at racing events on the track, which has let me meet some amazing people in the racing community.
This summer I met Lead Foot Racing while I was looking for a race car of my own. I knew with this team I had finally gotten the opportunity I'd been waiting for.
I'm proud to represent Montrose, women in motorsports, and the next generation of racers. What's next is to keep progressing through motorsport and pursue a full time career in pro racing.
